LIBRARY

The Library is the Learning Resource centre for the school.  With the assistance of all members of staff, it is the responsibility of the Teacher Librarian, Mr Bailey, to develop and maintain the large collection of books and other resources.

The Library is open to all children for borrowing.  They may borrow during their class library time and the Library will be open most lunch times for children to utilise.  Books are scanned and are required to be returned within two weeks.  A book bag is required to protect the items borrowed.

More information regarding the library can be found at this link.

SCRIPTURE

Each Tuesday all children are given an opportunity to participate in a Scripture lesson given by people from either the Protestant or Catholic denominations.  These classes are taught by local volunteers representing a number of church groups in the community.

Children may be exempted provided that they present a written request from their parent or guardian.

LUNCHES

There is no canteen at the school.  Lunches may be ordered from the local store by placing a bag with the money, child’s name, class and order written on it into a lunch order box in the office before 9.00am.

Orders may also be dropped off at the shop on the way to school.  Senior students assist all classes by collecting orders prior to the lunch break.

BANKING

Pupils are able to bank with the Commonwealth Bank each Thursday at school.  Bank books are returned to pupils on Friday after being processed.  Bank books should be left in the class money boxes at the office.
