ACCESS
TO SCHOOL |
|
Parents are always welcome to visit our school. Access to
CLASSROOMS and TEACHING STAFF should be arranged before the
visit, so as not to disrupt class routines and activities.
Teachers are generally available between 8.30 and 9.00am each
day. Appointments should be made to discuss any queries
concerning pupil progress. These will generally be arranged
prior to lessons commencing, during lunch breaks or during a
class teacher’s release time.
Please
contact the school office to make an appointment - 42941191 or

ABSENCES |
|
Parents are required by law to have their children attend school
each day it is open.
Absences need to be covered by a note giving reasons for
non-attendance. A WRITTEN EXPLANATION is required for all
absences and must include date or dates of absence. A telephone
call advising of possible prolonged absences is appreciated but
a note is still required on resumption. Home School Liaison
officers are available to assist the school where irregular
attendance is considered to be a factor in pupil progress or
welfare. |

 |
LATE ARRIVAL / EARLY DEPARTURE |
|
Children arriving late after classes have entered rooms must
obtain a late note from the office. Parents or carers who wish
to collect a child before the recognised end of the school day
must obtain a leave note from the office to give to the teacher
when collecting your child. This action is necessary to ensure
the whereabouts and safety of children at all times |
