Congratulations to our
representatives who took part this week in the Northern Suburbs
Public Speaking Competition at Thirroul P.S. All students spoke
magnificently and should be very proud of their achievements.
This is an outstanding opportunity for students to extend upon
the skills developed in our school public speaking program. Our
representatives spoke extremely well and were a real credit to
our school. Congratulations to Isabella, Sophie and Laura who
represented each Stage.
Isabella did
extremely well and won the competition for her stage. She was
crowned the Public Speaking Champion for our Northern Schools –
well done Isabella - fantastic!
Each student had to
deliver a prepared speech and an impromptu speech on the day.
The standard of Public Speaking has improved markedly across the
school and this is shown with the speaking skills and the
presentation of our representatives. Well done girls! |
