The Chicks R Us program in
Kindergarten is producing outstanding learning opportunities for
the students with the
students becoming very excited with the care of the chicks.
Eleven
chickens hatched successfully and are growing rapidly.
One egg had already hatched in the car on the way to school so
we started with 13 eggs. Kindergarten are looking after the
fluffy little chicks. The winners of the guessing competition
were Celeste, Megan and Jack - well done!
Kindergarten are very busy using
the chicks as the focus of their work in all Key Learning
Areas. The chicks are an attraction for all the children at
school.
