What a fantastic four days we have
had, being involved in the choir for the Southern Stars
spectacular “From the Centre to the Sea” A BIG THANK YOU
Senior Choir for putting in such a tremendous effort.
We had to learn SO many new things
every day and each performance brought about other changes. It
was SO necessary to be alert and watching our illustrious
leaders at all time. Thanks Gang you did that extremely well.
The discipline required was so character building and the
children never let us down at any point The singing, dancing,
waving and head gear! required us to concentrate at all times,
even while there was so much brilliant entertainment going on.
I personally enjoyed being with
such a talented well behaved group of children. I am very proud
of them. It was exciting to be with the children outside of the
classroom and every day I was learning new things about the
characters of each child. I had FUN, I learnt a lot and I was
inspired by the outstanding talent of so many children in the
South Coast. I’m sure we will see every one of our children
involved one way or another in the Southern Stars in the future.
The buzz of the children was inspiring - for the band, the
guitar playing, the acrobats, the dance, the tapping, and yes
even as backing singers for the whole production! (my
favourite! ) |

What about our****HANNAH**** she
certainly was the star of the show. We were so proud of her.
Congratulations Hannah, you are a STAR. Good Luck next week at
the State Dance Festival. Clever, talented, hard working girl!
Thank you to the Staff
who supported the children and myself. Thank you Parents for
having such wonderful children and for supporting us through
this big production and with transport. Last but not least Thank
you Mr Tomlinson who was my “Right hand man,” supported the
children and myself and never stopped smiling ( we couldn’t get
him to wear his satin sashes and headgear! Maybe next time?! )
The huge “Thank you’s,
the hugs, the enthusiasm, the experience, the fun, the smiles,
the fact that everyone turned up every day, the good manners,
the ease of being with a dedicated young group of children is
very motivating and makes it all worthwhile.
